Many years ago, I read a reference concerning crime statistics in New York state, I believe, where it was stated that no serious felonies, or violent crimes, were committed by pipe smokers. I can neither guarantee the correctness of my memory, nor of the statement. Do any of your readers know this reference, its source, and its validity?
